We talked a lot about Aquiesse Candles around the November-December holidays last year, but burning candles is not just for the cooler months.
Aquiesse is a leader in luxury home fragrances inspired by nature. Founded in Santa Barbara, California, more than ten years ago, they collaborate with designers and perfumers to create their suite of sophisticated and approachable scents.
The lavender candle shown above features spanish sage, dry chaparral, white sandalwood, and (of course) lavender. The scent is definitely lavender, with a touch of what I would describe as woodsy and a bit herby. Sometimes, lavender can seem over-perfumed – this is not that.
These convenient travel candles burn for 20 hours and cost just $6. I use these on my bathroom counter – where space is definitely limited.
The 11 ounce Luxe Tin Candles burn for 100 hours and include matches that are conveniently stored in the lid. The containers are double-walled and stay cool to the touch. And – unbreakable!
My favorite scent is the Luxe Linen shown above. A barely sweet perfect combination of sandalwood and herbal tea is soft and romantic.
Aquiesse Candles are blended using only the highest-grade ingredients, essential oils, lead-free wicks, and pure soy wax. We love everything about these candles and the people who make them.
Spring is in the air! I’ve been enjoying all of the great produce that is coming into season. Hello, avocados. Long time no see, strawberries!
At my house, we are trying a new recipe each Sunday. It’s so easy to get stuck in a food rut, yes? Some of the recipes are simple (we made an amazing artichoke dip last week) and sometimes a bit more complicated (have you ever made your own tofu?).
Everyone here loves items from BlueQ. We adore their sense of humor and the incredible quality of all of their items. Other than calendar items, they are among our bestselling items – we’re so glad you love them, too.
BlueQ recently started making oven mitts – and you know we had to be first in line to try those! (Beware – bad words ahead!)
These mitts are hilarious, a little bit naughty, and (most importantly) super-thick to protect your hands while you’re cooking up something yummy.
I don’t know what to say about the above. Except that I love it. Ha!
At just under $12, these FUNctional oven mitts would be fantastic, affordable, and unusual hostess gifts.
