Here’s the package I’m putting together for under $50 . . .
The Pilot Metropolitan has won the respect of writers around the world. The price is amazing (under $20), and the quality is impeccable. Affordable, elegant, and arrives in an attractive box, ready to give.
We only have a few of these Special Edition Leuchtturm Notebooks remaining in stock. These books feature a handy index, numbered pages, and an expandable pocket. The paper is high-quality 80gsm – luxurious enough to use with nearly any pen (including fountain pens and fineliners). Here a link to all of our Leuchtturm Notebooks – there’s a color and style for everyone.
I’m so happy to share with you today that Brush Dance now has Lihit Lab pen cases and notebook/planner covers in stock and ready to ship!
Lihit Lab is a popular Japanese brand that I’ve used for years. And as you know, at Brush Dance, we are only committed to selling items that we actually use and love.
My first experience with Lihit Lab was the B5 Notebook Cover (shown above and below). I loved it so much that I bought one for everyone at Brush Dance.
Here’s some of what I love about these covers:
Durability – made with Cordura canvas, this cover is made to last. After more than three years of daily use, mine (in navy blue) looks brand new.
Pockets! OMG with the pockets!
The large front velcro-type closed pocket is large and deep enough to hold a variety of items. Right now, I have a pencil, eraser, and ruler in mine and there’s still plennnnty of room for more.
The front also features two pen holder pockets. These pockets are large enough to contain nearly any writing instrument. There’s also a “slip-in” pocket on the front cover to hold a few sheets of folded paper – I keep bills that I need to pay in there.
Once inside, there are even more pockets. On the inside front cover, there are three additional slip-in pockets. These are smaller than the one on the front and will easily accommodate planning stickers, credit cards, a few folded up dollar bills, or paper clips. And, finally, the inside back cover features a flap where I tuck important papers and larger sticker sheets.
Bookmarks – two satin ribbon bookmarks in different colors – so handy!
Room For It All – Right now, I have just one B5 Leuchtturm notebook in mine, but in the past, I’ve had two with no problem. And here’s what I’m most excited about:
Our brand new Karma Planners fit perfectly into this Notebook Cover. Karma Planners begin with weekly spreads starting in November 2017 – and I can’t wait!! I’m planning to start filling in important dates very soon.
The A5 Notebook Cover (shown above) has all of the same great features as the B5 shown above – just in a more compact size. This one is compatible with the Leuchtturm A5 Notebooks that are so popular for bullet journaling.
Need a little more color in your life?
You can see all of our Lihit Lab products right here. And below are direct links to the ones I personally use every day:
We also like the Leuchtturm Lined Notebooks for new graduates. We’ve written about these high-quality stylish books lots. Hard cover, great paper quality, two fabric page markers, and an elastic band to help your grad keep it all together. Black is shown above – and we have many other colors and styles.
Of course, there’s nothing saying you have to give the graduate in your life a serious gift. Brush Dance has you covered! The 401K Retirement Plan Coin Purse shown above measures just 4″ x 3″ – perfect for your life’s savings, yes?
Karma (yes, her real name) is our highly-esteemed and ultra-organized administrative assistant at Brush Dance. In addition to answering the phone when you call with questions, Karma works with every department to help keep things on track. She runs reports, creates spreadsheets, dives into Facebook and Instagram, proofs all of our calendars, and much much more.
When she’s not working, Karma enjoys hiking with her boyfriend in the hills near her home, spending time with family, visiting museums, and cuddling with her cats. She says the Octopus Shopper Bag from BlueQ reminds her of trips to the aquarium.
Known to doodle, Zentangle, and bullet journal, writing instruments are important to Karma. In her own words…
And after all of that work, hiking, and museum-ing, some self-care is in order. A long bath with our effervescent bath seltzer is just the thing. Karma is also reasonably certain that every cat lover needs a pair of these ultra-soft Cat Monster Socks.
Thank you for sharing your favorite things with us, Karma!
I also wanted to let you know that we’ve placed some new items in our Clearance section. Once these items are gone, we will not restock them. There are some terrific deals there and I hope you’ll check them out!
Last week a few of us got together to talk about the future of our website. Expanding our site to include products that we ourselves didn’t produce was a huge decision for us. We never want to detract from our own calendar and plannercollections, and at the same time, other than our beautiful journals and thoughtful cards, we weren’t seeing a lot of visitors to our site between February and July.
Adding new products has been The Best Decision Ever. You can buy with 100% confidence that we are choosing the best of the best. We only carry products that Brush Dance employees actually use in our every day lives. These items are high-quality, durable, and have gone through months of real life testing by us. We only sell what we love.
The items in this post are Shawna’s favorites. Shawna is our director of operations. When asked to describe what she does, I quickly reply that she does everything. In addition to being responsible for keeping things going smoothly at Brush Dance, Shawna is also a wife and busy mom to two kids. As a former chef, she enjoys planning and hosting dinner parties. She is busy.
Shawna keeps track of various projects and planners in the Leucchtrum1917 Journal. She prefers the dot grid, but we also carry them in lined versions. While she’s used different systems over the years for managing it all, Shawna is currently embracing the popular trend of bullet journaling. The paper in her journal holds up very well to a wide variety of pens and markers, including the the Microns shown above and the colorful Staedtler Tri-Plus below.
As for that Hellraiser pouch shown above? I don’t know what to say about that (other than the fact that I have one, too!). Oh, and it is just $6.49 on our website. Want a closer look? Check out our quick video (there’s no sound – safe for work!).
Thank you for sharing your favorite items with us, Shawna!
